Biblio...

I'm excited to announce that this morning I finished reading the Old Testament for my first time ever. I started two years ago...TWO YEARS! It's obviously been a little slow-going. I kind of quit for a few months and then decided last January that I could stick to two pages a day. And I did. Guess what? I think that I'm not afraid of the OT anymore. It finally feels like a friend.

Favorite verses from the last few pages:

"And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried; they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God." -Zechariah 12:9

"Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels..." -Malachi 3:16-17

I
love
this
book.

I'm feeling very sheepish, because I still have never read it cover to cover. Way to go Heath!
