Tech envy

I think I forgot that I had a blog. Or maybe I just didn't want to deal with the vomiting of my thoughts for a while.

Here are some things I've learned about myself recently:

1. When I do a back-up of our system at the end of the day, I am in constant competition with my computer to see if I can stay one step ahead. When I know the disc holder is going to be popping out, I ready myself to drop in the CD without one moment of hesitation. When I know the one box is going to be popping up on the screen, I try to put my mouse in the exact spot that the X is going to be so that I can shut it immediately. Basically, I've found myself trying to prove that I am physically faster than a computer.

2. Exact quote from my 5-year-old nephew Shaydon, "Heather, you are the best paper airplane maker I have ever seen."

Deep inside...I always knew it.

3. I've lost interest in watches. Not at all purposeful...just one day I stopped wearing one and I haven't gone back. I think it symbolizes that I'm also losing interest in time. Except when it's time to eat.

Amen! I always know when it's time to eat! I finished off my dulce de leche. It was heavenly!
